Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup cocoa

Instructions

  1. Knead all ingredients by hand until well combined.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-40 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Allow to cool before serving.
