Pasta With Camembert And Tomatoes
Ingredients
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, drained and chopped ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz.) Camembert cheese, rind removed and torn in irregular pieces ⓘ
- 1/2 c. clean fresh basil leaves, cut into strips
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and finely minced ⓘ
- 1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. olive oil ⓘ
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper ⓘ
- 3/4 lb. pasta (spiral, spinach, any shape or color) ⓘ
- freshly grated Parmesan ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine tomatoes, Camembert, basil, garlic, 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper in a serving bowl.
- Prepare at least 2 to 3 hours before serving and set aside, covered, at room temperature.
