Ingredients

  • 1 baked pie shell
  • 2 10 oz. packages frozen sliced strawberries
  • 1 package strawberry jello
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Add water to the juice of berries to make 2 1/2 cups.
  2. Heat the berry juice to boiling.
  3. Dissolve strawberry jello in the hot liquid.
  4. Add vanilla ice cream by spoonfuls, stirring until melted.
  5. Chill until mixture is thick but not set.
  6. Fold in the sliced strawberries.
  7. Pour the mixture into the baked pie shell and chill before serving.
