Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon lite salt
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons skim milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F.
  2. Mix the flour and salt in a bowl.
  3. Combine the corn syrup and milk, then add this to the flour mixture.
  4. Stir with a fork until thoroughly mixed.
  5. Do not overwork the dough.
  6. Shape the mixture into a ball and place it between two pieces of wax paper dusted with flour.
  7. Roll the pastry into a circle large enough to fit in a 9-inch pie pan.
  8. Spray the pie pan with nonfat cooking spray.
  9. Arrange the crust in the pan.
  10. Cut off the edges that hang over.
  11. Prick the bottom with a fork.
  12. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  13. Cool before adding filling.
