Pat'S Four Layer Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. Cool Whip
  • 3 small pkg. instant vanilla or chocolate pudding
  • 4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, nuts, margarine and sugar.
  2. Spread into a 9 x 13 pan.
  3. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes.
  4. Cool.
  5. For second layer, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip.
  6. Spread over crust.
  7. For third layer, combine the pudding mix and milk; beat until thickened.
  8. Pour over the second layer. Spread Cool Whip on top; sprinkle with nuts if desired.
  9. Chill.
