Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 can peas
  • 1 can tuna

Instructions

  1. Make white sauce by melting shortening in a saucepan.
  2. Add flour and milk, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and begins to boil.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and cook until thickened.
  4. Add peas and tuna to the sauce, stirring to combine.
  5. Serve over potatoes or rice.
