Ingredients

  • 1 can sliced peaches (heavy syrup)
  • 1 small pkg orange jello
  • 1 pt vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Drain juice from peaches.
  2. Make 1 1/4 cups of juice (add water if necessary).
  3. Put juice in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  4. Transfer juice to a bowl and add jello; dissolve completely.
  5. Add vanilla ice cream and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  6. Cut peaches into small pieces.
  7. Fold the peaches into the mixture after it has been refrigerated.
  8. Pour the mixture into a baked pie shell and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
  9. Top with Cool Whip before serving.
