Ingredients

  • 1 large can sliced peaches
  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Pour the entire can of sliced peaches (including juice) into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Sift the yellow cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  3. Cut the 1/4 cup of margarine into small pieces and drop them over the cake mix.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup chopped pecans, and 1/4 cup margarine until well combined.
  6. Spread the pecan mixture evenly over the baked cake.
  7. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until topping is golden and bubbly.
