Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup Karo syrup (light or dark)
  • 1 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 8 cup cornflakes

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and Karo syrup in a saucepan.
  2. Set on hot flame and let the mixture slightly boil once, stirring all the while.
  3. Stir in peanut butter.
  4. Pour the mixture over the cornflakes and mix well.
  5. Press the mixture into a buttered baking pan.
  6. Press out the mixture evenly.
  7. Before it cools, cut into squares.
