Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts

Instructions

  1. Pour honey and maple syrup into a saucepan and cook until a small amount of mixture forms a hard ball when dropped into very cold water (255° F on candy thermometer).
  2. Remove from heat, add baking soda and cream of tartar; mix well.
  3. Stir in roasted peanuts and pour into a buttered 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan.
  4. Cool and cut into 1-inch squares.
