Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1/3 cup bourbon, rum, or brandy
  • 3 cups pecan halves
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate

Instructions

  1. Cream 1/2 cup of unsalted butter until smooth.
  2. Gradually add 2 cups of confectioners sugar and 1/3 cup of bourbon, rum, or brandy alternately, beating until the mixture becomes thick and smooth.
  3. Shape the mixture into half teaspoon-sized balls.
  4. Press a pecan half on each side of each ball and chill for 20 minutes.
