Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 1/4 cups pecans, halved

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  2. Beat in eggs, corn syrup, and vanilla until well mixed.
  3. Stir in pecans.
  4. Pour filling into an unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 5 minutes.
  6. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F.
  7. Bake an additional 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
