Ingredients

  • 2 c. light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. pecans

Instructions

  1. Mix together the dry ingredients: brown sugar, flour, and salt.
  2. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  3. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the beaten egg whites, stirring by hand until fully combined.
  4. Add vanilla extract and chopped pecans to the mixture.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
  7. Allow cookies to cool on the cookie sheet to prevent crumbling.
