Ingredients

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. Pet milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. walnuts

Instructions

  1. Mix brown sugar, white sugar, and Pet milk well.
  2. Bring to the boiling point, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Cook until the mixture reaches 236°F or until a small amount dropped into cold water forms a soft ball.
  4. Add butter and cool until lukewarm, then beat until creamy.
  5. Add vanilla and walnuts, then pour into a greased pan.
  6. When cold, cut into squares.
  7. If the mixture curdles, it will become smooth after beating.
