Instructions
- Stir together dry ingredients; cut in shortening.
- Dissolve yeast in warm water; add to buttermilk.
- Add milk to dry mixture and mix well.
- Roll out about 1/2-inch thick and cut in desired size.
- Freeze on cookie sheets.
- When frozen, place in plastic bags.
- Close securely and store in freezer.
- About 30 minutes before baking, dip in melted butter.
- Bake at 400° for 25 minutes. Take out desired amount to serve.
