Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar.
  2. Add 1 cup flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  3. Spread this mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan and brown at 350°.
  4. Mix remaining ingredients and spread over the first layer; bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
  5. Cool real good before cutting.
