Ingredients

  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups or more pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Combine light brown sugar, white sugar, and sour cream, stirring well.
  2. Stir over low heat until mixture forms a soft ball in cold water.
  3. Remove from heat and add vanilla and pecan halves.
  4. Stir until mixture coats the nuts.
  5. Turn out onto waxed paper and separate with a fork.
