Delightful pepper jelly turnovers feature creamy cheese and spicy jalapeno jelly encased in flaky pastry, perfect as an appetizer or snack for gatherings and casual entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz. jar pasteurized processed cheese spread
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Cut the cheese and butter into the flour until crumbly.
  2. Quickly stir in water and shape the mixture into a ball.
  3. Chill the dough overnight.
  4. Roll the dough very thin and cut into 5-inch circles using a biscuit cutter.
  5. Place a spoonful of jalapeno jelly on half of each dough circle.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling and crimp the edges with a fork.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes until golden.
