Ingredients

  • 1 lb. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. peppermint oil

Instructions

  1. Grease 2 cookie sheets.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, vinegar, water, and syrup.
  3. Cook until the mixture forms a hard ball when dropped into cold water.
  4. Remove from heat and add peppermint oil. Mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture onto the prepared cookie sheets and let it cool and harden.
  6. Break into pieces and enjoy.
