Pepperoni Calzone

Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated pizza crust
  • 3 oz. pepperoni slices
  • 2 c. shredded Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese blend
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (14 oz.) jar pizza sauce, heated

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°. Lightly grease 12-inch pizza pan. Unroll 1 can of dough and place in greased pan. Starting at center, press out dough with hands to edge of pan. Spread a single layer of pepperoni over dough and then sprinkle shredded cheese over pepperoni. Unroll remaining can of dough and press out dough on work surface to form 12-inch round. Fold dough in half and place over cheese. Unfold. Press outside edges to seal. Cut several slits in top crust. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until crust is deep golden brown. Cut pizza calzone into wedges and serve with a side of warm pizza sauce for dipping.
