Ingredients

  • 4 c. peeled, chopped tomatoes
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped pared apple
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 inch red hot pepper
  • 2/3 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. ground allspice
  • 3/4 tsp. mustard seed
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Cook the peeled, chopped tomatoes, chopped onion, chopped pared apple, chopped green pepper, and red hot pepper until thick, stirring often.
  2. Add brown sugar, salt, ground allspice, mustard seed, and cinnamon, then cook until thick.
  3. Serve on hot dogs and hamburgers.
