- Drain the Kosher dill pickle.
- Cut the pickle into thin round slices.
- Place the sliced pickle back into the jar.
- Mix sugar and vinegar together.
- Put cloves in a thin cloth and add to the jar with the pickle.

- Pour the sugar-vinegar mixture over the pickle slices.
- Refrigerate the jar upside down until the sugar dissolves, shaking often.
- Wait 24 hours until the pickle is ready to eat.
