Tips & Substitutions

For a crunchier texture, consider adding sliced radishes or apples to the slaw. You can substitute the cabbage with kale or Brussels sprouts for a different flavor and texture. If you prefer a creamier dressing, mix in some yogurt or mayonnaise. Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or using honey for a natural alternative.

Serving Suggestions

This Winter Cole Slaw pairs beautifully with Sweet And Pungent Meatballs and makes an excellent side for barbecues or holiday meals. Serve it chilled for a refreshing crunch along with grilled meats or as a topping for sandwiches. It can also be enjoyed as part of a delicious garden salad.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The flavors will continue to develop, so it's best enjoyed within the first 24 hours. If the slaw becomes too watery, simply drain off excess liquid before serving.
