Ingredients

  • 1 cup tarragon vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 12 hard-boiled eggs, shelled
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine tarragon vinegar, celery seed, minced garlic, water, bay leaves, sugar, and salt.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and then simmer for a few minutes.
  3. Allow the pickling liquid to cool.
  4. Place the shelled hard-boiled eggs in a jar or container.
  5. Pour the cooled pickling liquid over the eggs, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  6. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving to allow flavors to develop.
