Ingredients

  • green mangoes
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 3 c. water
  • 1/4 c. Hawaiian salt
  • 1 box brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. five-spice

Instructions

  1. Slice the green mangoes into quart jars.
  2. Combine the white vinegar, water, Hawaiian salt, brown sugar, and five-spice in a pot.
  3. Cook the mixture until the salt and sugar are dissolved.
  4. Pour the hot pickling liquid over the mango slices in the jars.
