A simple, cholesterol-free pie crust made with light corn syrup and skim milk, perfect for sweet or savory fillings and suitable for quick, wholesome baking.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sifted plain flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons skim milk

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
  2. Combine milk and corn syrup.
  3. Add the milk and syrup mixture to the flour all at once.
  4. Mix well and roll out to fit a 9-inch pie pan sprayed with Pam.
  5. Cool the crust before adding filling.
  6. Bake at 475°F for 10 minutes.
