Pie Cuts are delightful flaky pastries filled with fruit filling, perfect for breakfast or dessert. They offer a sweet, buttery flavor and satisfy any sweet tooth.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. butter
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 2 regular size pie fillings
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Dissolve sugar and yeast in lukewarm milk; set aside.
  2. Add flour and butter; cut in just like for pie crust.
  3. Add milk and yeast mixture to beaten eggs; mix well.
  4. Divide dough into 2 parts.
  5. Roll one part to fit into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  6. Spread pie filling over the dough.
  7. Cover with the remaining dough.
  8. Let rise for 1 hour.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
  10. Frost with powdered sugar glaze before serving.
