Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. new potatoes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Slice the potatoes into rounds and place them in a greased 9 x 9-inch casserole dish.
  2. Sprinkle the potatoes with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Mix the heavy cream with chicken broth and pour over the potatoes.
  4. Cover the casserole and bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
  5. Uncover and bake for another 30 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese over the top and return to the oven until the cheese melts.
