Ingredients

  • 15 1/4 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 1 3/4 cups orange juice
  • 4 teaspoons brown sugar
  • dash of ground allspice
  • 1 1/2 cups quick cooking rice

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, stir together undrained crushed pineapple, orange juice, brown sugar, and ground allspice.
  2. Bring to a boil; remove from heat and stir in the quick cooking rice.
  3. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer into 4 serving bowls.
  5. Sprinkle with additional allspice, if desired.
