Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
  • 2 pkg. strawberry Jell-O
  • 6 oz. Cool Whip
  • 1 c. cottage cheese
  • 1 c. pecans

Instructions

  1. Bring the crushed pineapple to a boiling point in a saucepan.
  2. Add the strawberry Jell-O and stir until dissolved. Let the mixture cool.
  3. Once cooled, fold in the Cool Whip until well combined.
  4. Add the cottage cheese and mix gently.
  5. Stir in the pecans and strawberries.
  6. Refrigerate the salad until it is congealed and served.
