Ingredients

  • 7 cups popped corn
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • few drops red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Place popped corn in a large buttered bowl.
  2. In the bottom of a double boiler, heat about 1 inch of water to boiling.
  3. Combine butter, marshmallows, and salt in the top of the double boiler over hot water. Stir until melted together.
  4. Stir in food coloring to desired shade.
  5. Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the popcorn.
  6. Stir gently to coat the popcorn evenly.
