Ingredients

  • 12 oz. evaporated milk
  • 14 oz. condensed milk
  • 1/2 lb. Ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup coarsely ground pistachios
  • Few drops green food color
  • 2-3 drops ice-cream essence
  • 14-16 oz. whipped topping

Instructions

  1. In a large capacity food processor or blender, combine evaporated milk, condensed milk, ricotta cheese, ground pistachios, green food color, and ice-cream essence.
  2. Blend thoroughly for 1-2 minutes until well mixed.
  3. Remove blades and pour the mixture into a large bowl.
  4. Gently fold in the whipped topping until evenly incorporated.
  5. Pour the mixture into a suitable container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  6. Serve chilled, garnished with additional pistachios if desired.
