Ingredients

  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 c. lard
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 10 Tbsp. lukewarm water

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients, then cut in lard until crumbly.
  2. Add water gradually, until dough forms a small soft ball.
  3. Knead with a small amount of flour.
  4. Roll out the dough to fit a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  5. Divide the dough to make enough for a top and bottom shell.
