Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup margarine, melted
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla or anise
  • 3 1/2 cups flour (approximately)
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs, gradually adding sugar until smooth.
  2. Add cooled margarine and vanilla or anise flavoring.
  3. Sift flour and baking powder together and add to the egg mixture.
  4. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough into a hot pizzelle iron and cook until golden.
