  4. Place the strips on a well-greased cookie sheet.
  5. Brush the strips with beaten egg yolk mixed with 1 teaspoon water.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350° to 375°F for about 20 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven when baked, and while warm, slice into 1-inch wide slices.
