Ingredients

  • 5 boiled potatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes and mash them after they have cooled slightly.
  2. Add eggs, a pinch of salt, and baking powder to the mashed potatoes.
  3. Gradually add flour until the dough no longer sticks to your hands.
  4. Take a portion of dough and roll it into a snake-like shape in your hands.
  5. Place a plum on top of the dough and cut a piece of dough to cover it, then roll the dough around the plum to seal it.
  6. Drop the dumplings into boiling salted water and cook until the plums are soft.
  7. Remove the dumplings from water and roll them in bread crumbs.
  8. Sprinkle sugar on top before serving.
  9. Eat warm.
