Ingredients

  • 6 cups plums, pitted and chopped
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 package powdered pectin

Instructions

  1. Combine plums, water, lemon juice, and pectin in a large sauce pot.
  2. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat, stirring frequently.
  3. Add sugar; return to a rolling boil.
  4. Boil hard for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  5. Pour hot jam into hot jars, leaving ¼ inch headspace.
  6. Adjust caps on the jars.
  7. Process the jars in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
