Ingredients

  • 16 oz. can green beans
  • 14 oz. can La Choy mixed Chinese vegetables
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Drain and mix the green beans, La Choy mixed vegetables, chopped celery, chopped carrots, and chopped onion.
  2. Combine sugar, cider vinegar, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  3. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and marinate for several hours.
  4. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
