Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can pie filling (any kind)

Instructions

  1. Cream the sugar and softened butter together until well combined.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Stir in the flour and vanilla until the batter is smooth and well blended.
  4. Spread the batter evenly on a greased cookie sheet.
  5. Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of pie filling onto the batter, creating little pools of filling across the surface.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar while still warm.
