Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg. instant toasted coconut pudding or regular
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup poppy seed
  • 1 cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two 9x5-inch loaf pans.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, instant toasted coconut pudding (or regular), salad oil, eggs, poppy seeds, and hot water; mix until smooth.
  4. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the loaves cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
