Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 4 tart cooking apples
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. water

Instructions

  1. Brown pork chops lightly in cooking oil.
  2. Slice and core apples into 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick slices.
  3. Arrange pork chops in a long baking dish.
  4. Layer apple slices on top of the pork chops.
  5. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
  6. Add water to the dish.
  7. Cover with foil and bake in a 350°F oven for 45 minutes.
