Pork Chop Cacciatore

Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 envelope spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 green pepper

Instructions

  1. In skillet, brown pork chops.
  2. Season with salt and pepper; place on baking sheet.
  3. Top with slices of onion.
  4. Combine sauce, tomatoes and brown sugar in bowl.
  5. Pour over pork chops.
  6. Cover; bake at 350° for 1 hour.
  7. Uncover; top each chop with green pepper ring.
  8. Bake 15 minutes more.
