Ingredients

  • 1/3 lb. pork hash
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp. sake
  • 1 tsp. shoyu
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. potato starch
  • ajinomoto

Instructions

  1. Chop the green onion, using more white parts.
  2. Add chopped green onion and grated ginger to ground pork and mix well.
  3. Add shoyu, sake, sugar, ajinomoto, and eggs; mix thoroughly.
  4. Fry the eggs until cooked; then cool.
  5. Spread the pork mixture evenly over the cooled eggs.
  6. Roll the eggs and pork from both sides to form a log.
  7. Steam the rolled mixture for about 5 minutes on high heat, then reduce to low heat and steam for an additional 20 minutes.
