Pork Vegetable Bake
A hearty pork vegetable bake featuring tender steaks, flavorful onion and soy sauce, and roasted potatoes and carrots, perfect for a satisfying family dinner.

- Place potatoes and carrots in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Trim fat from the pork steaks.
- In a large skillet, cook pork trimmings until about 2 tablespoons of oil accumulate.
- Discard trimmings. In hot oil, brown the steaks well on both sides.
- In a small saucepan, combine water, dry onion soup mix, and soy sauce; bring to a boil.
- Spoon half of the soup mixture over the potatoes and carrots.
- Top with the steaks and spoon the remaining soup mixture on top.
- Cover and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 1 hour.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
