Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup shortening or oleo
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Combine flour and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Cut in shortening or oleo until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add eggs and milk; stir lightly with a fork.
  4. Form the mixture into a ball.
  5. Divide dough into 3 equal parts.
  6. Roll each part a little thinner than for pie crust.
  7. Lay rolled out dough on a greased cookie sheet.
  8. Cut into 1/2 to 1-inch squares.
  9. Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  10. Remove from oven and let cool.
  11. Serve with creamed turkey or chicken.
  12. Store in a tightly covered container; can be made in advance.
