Ham-Broccoli Rolls

Ingredients
- 2 rectangular slices boiled ham ⓘ
- 2 slices processed Swiss cheese ⓘ
- 10 oz. frozen broccoli spears ⓘ
- 1 1/2 tsp. margarine
- 1 1/2 tsp. flour ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1 1/2 tsp. horseradish mustard ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. grated onion
- 1 slightly beaten egg yolk ⓘ
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice ⓘ
- 1 tsp. mustard ⓘ
- 1/4 cup milk ⓘ
Instructions
- Top each ham slice with a slice of Swiss cheese.
- Place half cooked broccoli on each ham and cheese slice.
- Melt the margarine in a saucepan.
- Blend in flour, salt, horseradish mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and grated onion.
- Combine the beaten egg yolk and pineapple juice in a small bowl.
- Gradually blend the egg mixture into the butter-flour mixture.
- Stir in milk and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of sauce over the broccoli on each ham slice.
- Roll the ham and cheese around the broccoli to form a roll.
- Secure each roll with a wooden pick.
- Place the rolls in a shallow baking pan.
- Cover and bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes.
- Spoon hot sauce over the ham rolls before serving.
