Ingredients

  • 4 lb. beef chuck pot roast
  • 1 envelope (about 1 1/2 oz.) dry onion soup mix
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Place a 30 x 18-inch piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  2. Place the beef chuck pot roast on the foil.
  3. Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix over the top of the meat and spread the cream of mushroom soup over it.
  4. Fold the foil over the meat and seal securely.
  5. Cook in a 300°F (150°C) oven for 4 hours.
