Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese
  • 1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 c. sliced, cooked carrots
  • 8 oz. medium noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in melted butter in a skillet.
  2. When the meat begins to change color, add minced onion and garlic.
  3. Saute until the meat is browned.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
