Ingredients

  • 500 grams potatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Cook potatoes in their jackets until tender; peel and mash them.
  2. Mix eggs with flour and combine with the mashed potatoes to form a dough.
  3. Shape the dough into small pieces and cook in simmering salted water for 6 to 8 minutes until they float to the surface.
  4. Drain the cooked dumplings.
  5. Serve hot, optionally topped with sautéed onions or plain with melted butter.
