Ingredients

  • 2 lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 2 c. cream of chicken soup
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 lb. carton sour cream
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted

Instructions

  1. Mix the thawed hash brown potatoes, cream of chicken soup, diced onion, sour cream, and shredded Cheddar cheese together.
  2. Spread the mixture evenly in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle lightly with flavored bread crumbs on top.
  4. Dot sparingly with melted margarine over the casserole.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 hour and 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
